Over more than two decades of joint educational activity, the Israeli and German teams have led a wide range of projects designed to create meaningful human encounters between youth, educators, and communities. These projects were based on open dialogue, cultural exchange, shared learning, and long-term personal experiences.
They brought together young people from diverse backgrounds within Israeli society, alongside international encounters with youth from Europe, creating space for learning, listening, and personal growth.
International Youth Delegations
The core of the initiative over the years. Youth delegations from Israel, Germany, and Poland met through joint educational seminars that included:
Personal encounters | Group work | Hosting in families
| Meetings with local communities | Educational and creative workshops
These encounters allowed participants to experience different realities, build personal relationships, and share meaningful experiences.
Identity-Focused Projects
A series of educational programs exploring questions of personal and collective identity:
Who am I? | Where do I come from?
How do society and history shape my identity? | How do I see others?
Through dialogue, creative work, and group activities, participants developed deeper self-awareness and understanding of others.
Educational and Cultural Exchange
Over the years, meetings were held between educators, facilitators, and communities, focusing on exchanging knowledge and experiences in the fields of education, society, and culture. These encounters strengthened cooperation and mutual understanding.
Historical Memory Projects
Part of the activity focused on shared learning around historical themes, visits to significant sites, and discussions about the connection between past, identity, and present-day realities. Participants were exposed to different narratives and encouraged to listen, ask questions, and reflect.
Creative Collaboration and Dialogue Through Art
Workshops in various artistic fields were integrated into many projects, including:
Photography | Theatre | Writing | Group creative work
Art served as a powerful tool for personal expression and emotional dialogue between participants.
Shared Living Experience
A central component of each project was the shared daily life during the encounters — living together, eating together, and spending time as a group. These experiences created strong personal bonds and lasting connections beyond the formal educational framework.
